New Site

One for all the geeks out there, Ive finally got my FTP issues sorted out and now have WordPress installed on the server and am now all over getting the new and improved site up and running. WordPress makes it far easier to publish content than the existing site and as a result I will be looking to add more content, more frequently to the new site. One of the sections I'm thinking about adding to the new site is a daily Zone recipe, this would be an area where a Zone meal suggestion would be posted each day as well as people being able to post up Zone meal hits and misses. There will also be an upcoming events page where things like the Circus Workshop, Greenbelt Run etc will be laid out.

If anyone has any suggestions for content or areas they would like to see on the new site please post to comments.

Heh, that's pretty close to what I ended up doing at home today. I had the day off work and wanted to try a WOD with a heavier deadlift in it.

200 double unders for time:

4:23 (lots of misses there)

Three rounds, 12-9-6 reps of:

deadlift (100kg)
burpees
pullups

7:52

Then later this afternoon I met up with another friend and did this one off the Crossfit One World site:

Run 800m
Run 400m backwards
Run 800m
Run 400m backwards

Not sure the distance was very accurate though.

Holy Hell! Out of all the crazy, repetitious, ungodly, strange, and ass kicking workouts I have done over the past, that one took number for the moment. I could do nothing more but lie on the ground and pant like a beaten dog, I could not even force myself to do any ab work. And I don’t think my time was all that fast either it just down right hurt.

kevin, the forwards backwards 800/400 workout is called Grif I think off the top of my head, always been keen to try it, seems suitably bizarre!

What was the deadlift weight for this one?

i used body weight 62k

ah sorry, as rx'd it was 60kegs for guys and 40 for women
